Bilingual Education, Title VI Program, Native Youth Community Project

San Juan School District is dedicated to advancing academic excellence and cultural understanding for Native American students.

The district provides comprehensive services through Bilingual Education, Title VI Indian Education, the Johnson O’Malley Program, and the Native Youth Community Project.

Each year, the district hosts a Heritage Language Conference, which engages educators, community members, and tribal leaders in learning and dialogue centered on Navajo culture, history, and language. San Juan School District employs eight highly qualified Heritage Language Teachers who are committed to educational excellence, supported by a dedicated Indian Education Committee that works diligently to ensure the best outcomes for students.
