I wanted to share exciting news about school students returning to school this fall.
During a ceremony on July 6, Navajo Nation President signed Resolution CJN-36-21 into law, part of which allows schools to reopen for in-person instruction with an approved safety plan.
Montezuma Creek Elementary School Safety Plan was turned into the Navajo Nation Education Board for approval in the latter part of June. We are awaiting approval to reopen face to face.
