If your 4th-6th grade student performed yesterday at Rock Point, please have them wear their traditional clothes tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 23) to school. They are performing their songs and dances at a school-wide assembly from 12-1. All parents and guardians are invited to attend. Please park OUTSIDE the fence to the gym. Gym doors will open at 12; parents should sit on the south bleachers as the north bleachers are reserved for students.

The bus has left Rock Point and will arrive at MCES around 4:20. You can pick you your student at the front of the school at that time.

If your 4th-6th grade student is on the Rock Point trip today, the competition is running behind schedule. We have four events left to perform. The bus will not be back until after 3:30 PM. Parents will need to pick up their student from the school today- the students will not back it back in time to catch the regular buses. We will send another message with an estimated time of arrival.
Please be aware that students will not be released at Rock Point to anyone other than their parent or guardian. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. If you have any questions, please call the front office or the Principal.

Our pile of student lost and found items is overflowing. We have so many coats, hoodies, water bottles, hats, etc. Come take a look in the cafeteria to see if you recognize any lost items. Any items not claimed by January 23 will be donated.

Today is the day of our holiday programs! Preschool is performing at 10 AM. Kinder - 6th grade performances begin at 5:30 PM in the gym. Doors will open and students should arrive at 5:15. Plan to park on the south side of the school near the gym. Students should plan to sit with their class until the program is over- this will allow us to create more space on the bleachers for parents and family members. Refreshments will be served.

Exciting things are happening this week at MCES. Our Cowboy Christmas holiday program for grades K-6 will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 5:30 PM in the gym. Doors will open and students should arrive by 5:15. Our preschool will have their holiday performance on Thursday at 10:00 AM, also in the gym. Refreshments will be served. Please plan on parking and entering through the gym, on the south side of the school. We look forward to seeing you soon!
