Our MCES Afterschool Program has spots available for our students! If you are interested, stop by the school for an application. This program is free and open to grades K-6. The program runs from Mondays thru Thursdays from 3:00- 5:35. Summer school will also be provided for students enrolled in the afterschool program.
Due to the power outage, MCES will have an early dismissal at 1:00 today. Buses should arrive to bus stops today at the same time as they on Fridays. We will plan hold regular school tomorrow and will provide any updates to you via Facebook, text, and email.

We have been made aware of an issue with incoming calls from AT&T cell phones to our system. This is a problem that other businesses are also encountering. The problem is between Frontier and AT&T; they are aware of it and addressing it. We don't have an ETA on the repair.

Valentine's Spirit Week

Join us tonight for our star gazing party. Dinner will be served from 6:30- 7:00 in the cafeteria.
The fire department has determined with their air quality monitors that there is no danger to students or staff in the building. We are resuming a normal day.
As a safety precaution we have evacuated our school building this morning due to a strange odor. The students and staff are safe and warm inside the gym while the fire department and maintenance department determine the source. We will keep you updated as we receive more information via text and our website.

Join us for CCR Day at MCES on Tuesday, February 4 , from 1:00- 5:00 PM. School will be dismissed and buses will depart at 11:40 that day. The after-school program will not be held on CCR Day. See you soon!

School dismisses at 1:00 on Friday, December 20, for Winter Break. We hope you all have a safe and joyful break.
Our afterschool program at MCES will start January 6. It will run on Mondays thru Thursdays from 3:00- 5:30 PM. The program is open to all students in grades K-6; there are about 35 spots left. The program includes snacks, homework time, and fun enrichment activities such as arts & crafts, science, and hands-on learning.
