Teachers were so excited today that parents brought 126 our TES students to pick up their science kits, a reward for completing ELA and Math testing for the month of April. Teachers can't wait to see the beautiful faces of their students, even if they are behind masks. "We want to continue to do this next year because it is so fun to talk with parents and meet our student's families," said Mrs. Quinn, a third grade teacher. We gave out flour and food boxes, clothes and diapers too, thanks to the Herreras and Lead for American.
We look forward to our next and final drive thru scheduled for May 20th, from 11:00-1:00. May's incentive is an Art Kit, but there will be more take home bags with fun activities for summer fun and learning. We can't thank our teachers, families and community enough for coming together to support each other during this pandemic year. We will all be stronger and kinder because of all we have learned.
