Misty holding Hozho book

Monument Valley High School and Tse'bii'nidzisgai Elementary are excited to release our first edition of Hozho: A Walk In Beauty.  This books is a compilation of interviews students obtained from their elders during their lock down order on the Navajo Nation.  The stories and interviews give readers an understanding of how things were in days gone by, as well as advice they wish to leave their grandchildren, including of the importance of keeping the culture and language alive, and obtaining a good education.  We see how families celebrate, learn from mistakes  and come together to sing, feast and dance in the beauty of Monument Valley.   These wonderful books are being sold to provide scholarships for our Monument Valley children.   If you would like to purchase them, please contact Misty Romero at 435-678-1286 Monday-Friday 8-3.  The cost is $20.
