SJSD Board of Education meets on Wednesday, March 8, at 6 pm. Public comment is needed to change anything on spend plans, for example:
1. Meal amount (last year was $10/meal and parents asked to increase to $15; board landed on $12), and/or
2. Spirit packs and what should, or should not, be included.
NOTES: The board does not currently support using program money for senior gifts and/or end of season banquets.

State Play In Games are scheduled for Saturday, February 25. Varsity Boys play Intermountain Christian High School at noon; Varsity GBB plays Pinnacle High School at 2 pm.

WHS received law enforcement alert about a shooting in the oil fields. Whereabouts of the shooter is unknown. WHS is now in a Lock Out to keep scholars and staff safe. Stakeholders will be updated as appropriate.

Once scholars, faculty, and parents provided feedback on the school vision, the Student Council worked with the Parent Climate Conference participants to make recommendations. Then, the School Community Council (SCC) finalized the action steps Raider scholars take to become confident, proficient, and accountable. Watch for a series of posts about these action steps!
