We received word of the sudden, off campus death of an 8th grader at WHS. This is very sad news. Family members are being contacted and supported as needed. The Crisis Team Members will continue to monitor and support staff and scholars as needed.
The Jr High BBB Game originally scheduled for today (Jan 11) is cancelled. Optional high school BBB and GBB practice will occur, but Wrestling travel is cancelled.

Out of an abundance of caution, WHS is in Lockout. Learning is continuing as normal within the school and once the situation with a disruptive student is resolved the Lockout will be lifted.
